NO LONGER IN USE
For retention purposes, this page will stay available, however, this method is no longer considered as the first approach, this is last resort ordeal.

HELPFUL INFORMATION NEW

To make things easier, I have made a video guide on Step 1 and 2 below if you're needing a more visual guide.

Step One - Putting the tablet into Kiosk mode

1

Open the Chrome Browser and go to the kiosk webpage

2

Login to Humanforce on the tablet

3

Select Admin > System Config > Override current location settings

4

Select the desired location from the drop-down menu that matches the kiosk tablet and click apply

5

Logout

INFO

By logging out you should instantly see the clock-in display.

Step Two - Creating the shortcut on the home screen

1

Re-open the Menu (Menu Icon) options

2

In the slide-out panel select the Desktop Site option

IMPORTANT

This step is vital to make sure the screen scaling is correct.

DANGER

Tablets under 7" screen size will require display settings to be forced to max and desktop site enabled to function some-what properly. This will be done under guidance of an IT member.

3

Tap the Menu button (Menu Icon) at the top of your screen again

4

In the slide-out panel select the Add to Home Screen option this time

5

Enter a name and select add

6

The Humanforce icon should now be on your home screen

INFO

When launching the Kiosk from the icon on the home screen, the Kiosk screen should load with desktop site requested as done in . If instead you are getting the Humanforce Login screen you will be required to set Humanforce to recognise the tablet as a Kiosk by following

Step Three - Enable Screen Pinning

1

Go to the Settings app > Security > Other Security settings > Pin Windows

INFO

It may also be labelled as "Biometric and Security" depending on the version of Android

Toggle the Pin windows setting on

3

Toggle the Ask for password before unlocking on

Open the kiosk shortcut from the home screen
