Grant Remote Access to Doctors


PART 1 - Create the user

Go to the ScreenConnect portal

Select Admin on the far left

Click on Security

Click on Show User Table

Click on Create User

Fill in the details

  • Username: [Firstname].[Lastname]
  • Password: Minimum of 8 Characters

TIP

Force password change at next login - should be ticked!

  • Email: Work/Personal
  • OTP: Email
  • Display Name: Dr Full Name
  • Role: Remote Workforce

Save the user

- Please fill in the required details into this sheet for tracking an auditing purposes.


PART 2 - Assign the user

Right-click the machine we need to assign and select Assign machine

Select the required user to assign the machine and Save

Have the doctor log into Screenconnect and test

Provide these 2 visual/interactive guides for the doctor to follow:

FOR YOUR INTERNAL REFERENCE

All PC's assigned to doctor's and others will be shown in a "Doctor Assigned Machines" group for us to manage and review.

Please ensure the doctor / user is tracked in the IT Journal - Google Sheet

Complete the login form

NOTE

They are unable to use "Connect with ConnectWise ASIO" as they weren't created through ASIO. Do not suggest them to use this button. It will not work.
